What we aim for, where we are, and how to tell us when something does not work.
EOWC Medical & Aesthetics wants every patient to be able to use this website, whatever device they are on and whatever assistive technology they use. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our working standard.
In practice that means the pages are written in plain language and structured with real headings, every image carries alternative text describing what is in it, the site can be operated from the keyboard alone, focus is visible as you move through a page, color is never the only way information is conveyed, text contrast is checked against the AA thresholds, and the layout reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a narrow phone screen and up to 200% zoom.
We do not claim the site is perfect. Accessibility is a standard to keep meeting rather than a box to tick once, and a site with this many pages will have defects we have not found. Where we know of a limitation, we would rather say so than let you discover it.
Two things on this site are served by other companies and are not built by us. The map on our contact and area pages is Google Maps, and the payment calculator on the payment plans page is provided by Cherry. Their accessibility is theirs to maintain, and we cannot change how those components behave.
Nothing on this site is available only through one of them. Our address, phone number, opening hours and driving directions are all written out in text on the page beside the map, and you can ask us anything about the cost of treatment by phone rather than using the calculator.
Our office is on the ground floor of the Eastern Oklahoma Wellness Center at 8165 S. Mingo Road, and parking is free and immediately outside the building. If you have a mobility, sensory or communication need that we should know about before your visit, call us on (918) 710-5924 and tell us. We would far rather arrange things in advance than have you arrive and struggle.
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Call (918) 710-5924 during clinic hours, or send us a message through our contact page. It helps if you can say which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what device or assistive technology you were using — but do not let missing any of that stop you getting in touch.
We will acknowledge what you tell us, explain what we can do about it, and fix what we can fix. If something cannot be fixed quickly, we will tell you what the alternative is in the meantime.
